Thea Birss is Managing Director of Birss Workplace Law, based in Adelaide, South Australia. The firm specialises in workplace law, with Thea having been recognised by Best Lawyers since 2020 as amongst the best Adelaide labour and employment lawyers.
 
Thea is passionate about equipping businesses to strategically engage and manage labour in order to improve efficiency and reduce risk in a highly regulated landscape.  Thea has delivered specialist workplace relations, employment and safety advice and representation in Australian commercial law firms for over twenty years.  Her approach is client-focussed.  She provides timely, practical solutions for businesses and senior executives.
 
Thea undertakes workplace investigations, resolves disputes and offers a range of training opportunities to empower clients to proactively address workplace issues.
 
Thea is a member of the Law Society of South Australia’s Industrial Relations Committee, Equality, Diversity & Inclusion Committee and its Young Lawyers Support Group.  She is a board member of Westside Community Lawyers.
